Luxembourg financial entities identify ICT suppliers in their DORA registers using an LEI or EUID, subject to the supplier rules. See how the CSSF's eDesk requirement differs from a supplier identifier request.
Luxembourg PSPs have had to offer Verification of Payee since 9 October 2025. An LEI can be used for an identifier check only when the relevant PSPs support the channel and hold the identifier.
From 10 July 2027, obliged entities in Luxembourg will obtain a customer's LEI where available. The AMLR does not require customers to obtain one, and AMLA's supporting standards remain in draft.
