Terms of service
LEI applications, renewals and transfers on leifast.com/uk/ The contracting party is LUTR Group OÜ.
Version 1 · Effective 20 October 2026. These terms are provided in English.
1. Who we are
LEIFast (leifast.com) is operated by LUTR Group OÜ, registry code 17598042, VAT number EE103029166, Vana-Tartu mnt 79a, Peetri alevik, Rae vald, Harju maakond, 75312, Estonia, e-mail info@leifast.com (“LEIFast”, “we”).
We are a Registration Agent of WM Datenservice, a service of Herausgebergemeinschaft WERTPAPIER-MITTEILUNGEN Keppler, Lehmann GmbH & Co. KG (“WM Gruppe”), Sandweg 94, 60316 Frankfurt am Main, Germany, a GLEIF-accredited LEI issuer (Local Operating Unit), LEI 5299000J2N45DDNE4Y28. Our own LEI is 529900CLTQL09BQQJ874. WM Gruppe issues, renews and manages the LEI. We are not an LEI issuer.
2. Customers and scope
Our services are for businesses only: legal entities, and persons acting for them in their trade, business or profession. They are not offered to consumers.
We can only serve legal entities, investment funds and sub-funds that are incorporated or registered in a jurisdiction covered by our agreement with WM Gruppe and for which WM Gruppe holds the required accreditation. The available countries are those listed in the order form.
3. The service
We prepare and submit applications for new LEIs, LEI renewals and LEI transfers to WM Gruppe on your behalf, pass on its messages to you and, where you have ordered it, start the renewals for the period you paid for.
Whether an LEI is issued and which data is published is decided by WM Gruppe under ISO 17442 and the rules of GLEIF. Processing times shown on the website are estimates, not guarantees. LEI reference data, and relationship data where required, is published openly in the Global LEI System (GLEIS). A legal entity may hold only one LEI; if it already has one, transfer it instead of applying again.
4. Authorisation and your obligations
The person placing an order confirms that they may act for the legal entity, either by virtue of their position (for example a board member or managing director with power of representation) or by a signed authorisation (power of attorney) from such a person. You authorise LUTR Group OÜ to apply for, renew, transfer and maintain the LEI with WM Gruppe on behalf of the legal entity.
We verify this authority before submitting any application: we check the business register and, where needed, the signed authorisation. We usually do this within 1 business day after payment. We keep the evidence, and WM Gruppe may ask to see it. Nothing is sent to WM Gruppe until the authority is confirmed.
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you provide and must tell us about changes (for example name, address or parent company). Please respond promptly when we forward a request from WM Gruppe.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the website in the currency of the site you order on. They include the GLEIF fee and are stated excluding VAT. Estonian VAT is added for customers established in Estonia. For customers in other EU countries with a VAT number confirmed in VIES, the reverse charge applies. For customers outside the EU, the service is outside the scope of Estonian VAT.
Payment is due in advance, using a method offered at checkout. We start processing only after payment has been received. A 1-, 3- or 5-year plan is one payment for that term, not a recurring subscription; we renew the LEI each year of the term you paid for. An unpaid bank-transfer order may be cancelled after the period stated in the order e-mail. Transferring an existing LEI to us has no extra fee.
6. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not liable for decisions or delays of WM Gruppe, GLEIF, business registers or payment providers, for consequences of incorrect data you provided, for a bank or broker that refuses a file although the LEI is issued, or for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the order concerned. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited by law, in particular for intent or gross negligence.
7. Transfers and end of service
You may transfer your LEI to another Registration Agent or LEI issuer at any time. Prepaid years that have not started are refunded as described in the Refund Policy below. If our Registration Agent agreement with WM Gruppe ends, your LEI remains valid with WM Gruppe and we will tell you how it will be managed.
8. Data protection
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy policy.
9. Changes
We may change these terms for future orders. The version in force when you placed an order applies to that order.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia; the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Disputes are settled by Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn. We may also bring a claim in the courts of your registered seat.
Refund policy
- Full refund if you cancel before we submit your application to WM Gruppe; if WM Gruppe rejects the application or cannot issue, renew or transfer the LEI (unless this is caused by false data you supplied); or if we decline the order, for example because the jurisdiction is outside our scope or the authority to act could not be confirmed.
- Duplicate or excess payments are always refunded in full.
- No refund once the application has been submitted to WM Gruppe, or once the LEI has been issued, renewed or transferred, except where mandatory law requires it. At that point the fee has been paid on to the LEI issuer and GLEIF.
- Multi-year plans: years that have not started are refunded if you cancel or transfer the LEI away. Years already processed are not refunded.
- Missing documents: if the required authorisation or documents are not provided within 60 days of the order, we may cancel it and refund the payment minus third-party costs already incurred.
- How to ask: e-mail info@leifast.com with your order number. Approved refunds are paid within 14 days to the original payment method; bank processing times may vary.
