VAT is added at the applicable rate. The GLEIF fee is included. No transfer fee.

Four steps. Then you are done.

  1. 01

    Pick 1, 3 or 5 years

A multi-year plan is one payment for the whole term, so the code does not quietly lapse.

  2. 02

We look up your Estonian company

We retrieve its details from the Estonian Business Register (Äriregister). You review them, so there is less to enter by hand.

  3. 03

    Pay

Bank link, card or invoice. The GLEIF fee is not added at the end.

  4. 04

    Certificate by email

WM Datenservice, a GLEIF-accredited LEI Issuer, publishes the code. The PDF arrives when the record is live.

Why LEIFast

Built to order, not to browse.

The homepage is the application. Plans sit on the first screen. The form stays out of the way until you mean it.

  • The form is on the first screen, behind one click.
  • Estonian register lookup, not twenty empty fields.
  • Pay once for 1, 3 or 5 years. The code stays Issued for that term.
  • LEIFast is the Registration Agent. WM Datenservice issues and publishes the LEI.

If a bank, broker or regulator has to identify your Estonian company, you need an LEI.

Securities and MiFID II

Shares, bonds or listed instruments. The broker asks for the code before they deal.

EMIR derivatives

EMIR derivatives reporting uses an active LEI to identify each counterparty.

Banking, loans, treasury

A bank may request an LEI for onboarding, financing or cross-border transactions.

Funds and counterparties

One code across reports, collateral and onboarding packs.

DORA / ICT providers

A financial-sector client may request an LEI when recording or assessing an ICT provider under DORA-related processes.

MiCA / crypto services

A crypto-asset firm may use an LEI in authorisation, reporting or counterparty records where the applicable MiCA process requests one.

An LEI is a 20-character code for your Estonian company.

An LEI is a global identifier under ISO 17442. GLEIF’s public index shows the legal name, Estonian registry code, address, status (Issued or Lapsed), and parent entities where required.

Banks, brokers and regulators use it to identify the same legal entity consistently. A transaction or report may require status Issued. The code does not change, but its reference data must be renewed annually.

LEIFast does not issue LEIs. We are a Registration Agent of WM Datenservice, the GLEIF-accredited LEI Issuer that issues the code. We collect the Estonian company’s application, payment and data.

Questions, answered plainly.

A 20-character ISO 17442 code that identifies a legal entity in financial markets. Public in the GLEIF index.

An Estonian company, including one managed by an e-resident, when it trades securities, reports derivatives, or a bank or broker asks. A private person in their own name does not.

WM Datenservice, a GLEIF-accredited LEI Issuer, issues the code. LEIFast is its Registration Agent and does not issue the LEI itself.

Most complete Estonian applications: the same working day, when the business-register data is clean. A complex parent structure can take longer.

One year at a time. A 3- or 5-year plan is one payment that keeps the code Issued for that term.

Renew with us if we manage it, or transfer first. The 20 characters stay the same. Transfer is free.

The yearly confirmation was missed. Many banks will not accept it until it is Issued again.

Legal name, Estonian registry code, address, contact, and parent details if a consolidating parent exists. Where possible, we prefill from the Estonian Business Register (Äriregister).

If the applicant is not a board member, if a parent link must be proved, or for some funds. We ask only then.

Use LEI search. It reads the GLEIF index. The status must be Issued, not Lapsed.
